Simple Masala dosa


Description:
A very common breakfast/dinner item. Easy to make, moreover everyone loves this food.

Ingredients:
1. Dosa batter- check the link http://ashisree.blogspot.jp/2015/06/dosaidli-batter.html
2. Potatoes - 3 to 4( can add green peas too)
3. Onion - 1
4. Green chillies - 3 to 4
5. Turmeric powder - 1/2tspn
6. Mustard
7. Urad dal
8. Curry leaves
9. Garlic pods
10. Black pepper corns
11. Ghee
12. Oil
13. Salt to taste

Procedure:
Cut the potatoes into half and transfer them into cooker with salt. Let 2-3 whistles go. Check whether the potatoes are cooked or not. If cooked take them out and put in a bowl. Leave it for sometime to cool down. Chop the green chillies, curry leaves, onion and garlic. Take a skillet and pour oil. Splutter mustard and urad dal. Add the garlic and saute. Next add the onions and cook until they slowly starts to becomes transparent. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mash the potatoes and add them too. Mix properly till all the ingredients combine.



Take a dosa  pan and start making dosas. Drop some ghee on the dosa before keeping the masala. Place the masala in the center and fold both sides of the dosa one over the another. Done serve with sambar/chutney.
