Sausage with potato curry


Description:
Sausage is usually made from ground meat and is easily available in supermarkets.

Ingredients:
1. Sausage - 5 to 6
2. Potatoes - 2(medium)
3. Green chillies - 2
4. Ginger
5. Garlic
6. Tomato - 2(small)
7. Onion - 1(big)
8. Cumin seeds
9. Turmeric powder - 1/2tspn
10. Chilli powder - 1tspn
11. Coriander powder - 1tspn
12. Garam masala - 1/2tspn
13. Oil
14. Salt to taste


Procedure:
Chop the potatoes into small cubes and keep aside. Crush the ginger, garlic and green chillies. Chop the tomatoes and onions too. Take a skillet/wok and pour little oil. Add cumin and allow it to splutter, then add the crushed ginger,garlic and green chillies. Saute for few seconds and add the onion, salt. Cook till the onions starts to get transparent. Then add the tomatoes and when they starts to get mushy add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.



Allow the gravy to boil as the gravy will be little mushy after adding tomatoes. Next goes in the potatoes. Close the lid  and cook till the potatoes are half cooked. Finally drop the sausages  in, you can add the whole sausage or chop them into 3 to 4 pieces and add. Sausages will cook very fast. Cover the lid till the potatoes and completely cooked and soft. Add salt as required. If you want to make the gravy more watery then please add water.



Serve with rice/chapati/puri.
