Description:
Simple, easy to make patties that can be used as appetizers/stuffing for burger, sandwich etc.
Ingredients:
1. Salmon - 3 to 4(medium fillets)
2. Potatoes - 4(small)
3. Green chillies - 2
4. Ginger
5. Garlic
6. Coriander leaves
7. Pepper powder-1 tspn
8. Garam masala - 1/2 tspn
9. Oil
10. All purpose flour - 2tspn
11. Salt to taste
Procedure:
Wash and boil the potatoes. Transfer them to a sieve and leave it till the potatoes become dry with no moist. Chop the green chillies, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves. Take the salmon fillets, clean it and pat dry on a tissue paper. Cut the fillets from the middle, length wise slices and again chop the slices into small pieces. Next take a bowl and mash the boiled potatoes. Throw in the green chillies, coriander leaves, ginger , garlic, pepper powder, garam masala and salt. Mix real good and the mixture should have a consistency that could be rolled into a ball. Incase your mixture have become too mushy then don`t worry just add some breadcrumbs. Check for salt.
Next take a skillet and pour oil for shallow frying the patties. Take the mixture little by little and roll it to a ball. Then gently press the ball to make the patties. Dip your hands in water each time after making a patty. This will prevent the mixture from sticking to your hand. Finally dip the patties in the flour and drop them into the skillet. Shallow fry the patties on low/medium heat. Cook on both sides till the patties starts to get golden brown colour. Take them out from the skillet and transfer to a platter.
Salmon patties are ready. Enjoy
