Description:
This simple dish will blow your mind away with its taste and aroma.
Ingredients:
1. Chicken(boneless preferred) - 250gms
2. Curd - 1cup
3. Ginger
4. Garlic
5. Green chillies - 3 to 4
6. Onion - 1(big)
7. Bay leaf - 3
8. Cinnamon stick - 1
9. Fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi fresh/dry) - handful
10. Turmeric powder - a pinch
11. Chilli powder - 1tspn
12. Coriander powder - 2tspn
13. Garam masal - 1/2tspn
14. Oil
15. Salt to taste
Procedure:
Clean and wash the chicken. Take the ginger, garlic, green chillies and make a paste either in a blender/motor and pestle. Next transfer the paste to a bowl and add curd, salt. Mix properly and finally add the chicken pieces. Set aside to marinate for sometime.
Chop the onions. Take a skillet/wok and pour some oil. Add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick and onion. Saute till the onion starts to become transparent. Next add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder,garam masala and fenugreek leaves. Saute for few seconds and finally add the marinated chicken.
Close the lid and cook till the chicken become soft on medium flame(15-20 minutes). Well, dahi chicken is ready. Try and enjoy.
