Procedure:
Soak the dried green peas overnight or atleast for 5-6 hours. Take a pressure cooker and add the greenpeas. Pour water and cook for 4-5 whistles. Set aside to cool down. Chop the onions, tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and garlic into small pieces. Take a skillet and pour some oil, then green chillies, garlic and ginger. Saute for few seconds and then add the onions. Cook till the onions start to change color. Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala. Mix well and cook till the raw smell of the masalas goes off.

You have to grind this onion masala to make a paste. Add little green peas stock to fasten the grinding process. Take the same skillet and pour little oil. Add curry leaves and pour the masala paste into the skillet. Mix again and let the gravy boil. Add salt. Next add the tomatoes and let them cook till the  tomatoes starts to dissolve in the gravy.  Finally add the cooked green peas. Mix well and let the curry boil one more time.

Check salt and add more if required. Garnish with some cilantro. Enjoy.
