Description:
This dish is yet another simple dish to prepare. The combination of Capsicum and besan is amazing.
Ingredients:
1. Green capsicum - 5 to 6
2. Gramflour(Besan)- 1/2cup
3. Onion- 1(medium)
4. Garlic
5. Curry leaves
6. Mustard
7. Cumin seeds
8. Oil
9. Turmeric powder - a pinch
10. Chilli powder - 1tspn
11. Garam masala - 1/2tspn
12. Salt to taste
Procedure:
Take the besan in a skillet and slightly dry roast it. Set aside to cool down.
Chop the onions and capsicum. Crush the garlic. Take a wok and pour oil. Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves. Next add the onions and saute for few seconds. Add the capsicum, cover the lid and cook for sometime. Then add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and garam masala. Add salt and mix. Cover again and cook for few minutes. Finally goes in the roasted besan and sprinkle some water. Mix well and cook till the capsicum and besan are done. Stir in between to avoid sticking to the bottom.
Once the dish is done you can smell a good aroma coming out. Allow to cool down and serve with food of your choice. Enjoy!
